Mississippi Made
Mississippi Made is an annual market for local artists hosted by 929 Coffee Bar in Starkville, MS. 929 had a poster competition to locally promote the event. The poster I designed came in 3rd place and was featured in the coffee shop during the event (image below is a mockup and not a photograph from the event).
The poster has a postcard theme to emphasize the featured artists are from all over Mississippi. Mississippi has several characteristics that make the state and its people unique that are featured in the middle postcard. From cotton fields, to the Delta, magnolias, the Gulf Coast, and the capital Jackson, Mississippi is filled with history and people who care. (Images on poster from unsplash.com and Google).
