Queen Elizabeth II

This poster of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation dress was made in remembrance of the late queen’s passing. Dress designer Norman Hartnell embroidered these emblems onto the gown that would reflect the domains she would soon rule over: England, the tudor rose; Canada, the maple leaf; Scotland, the thistle; Ireland, the shamrock; Whales, the leek and daffodil; Australia, mimosa blossoms; India, the white lotus.
